Job Summary

To lead and manage the delivery of end-to-end corporate and international tax advisory services for clients operating in the UAE and globally. The role oversees the full lifecycle of tax engagements, including UAE corporate tax compliance, international tax structuring, and M&A transaction advisory, ensuring alignment with evolving UAE regulations and OECD developments while optimizing tax efficiency for clients..

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage corporate and international tax compliance and advisory services across the UAE and GCC, ensuring accurate filings and adherence to UAE tax regulations.
• Advise clients on cross-border structuring, international tax matters, and the application of OECD tax frameworks.
• Provide tax advisory on mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and investment transactions, including tax due diligence and structuring.
• Manage tax audits, queries, and disputes with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).
• Coordinate multi-jurisdictional tax matters with regional and global teams to ensure consistent tax positions.
• Oversee technical quality, risk management, and compliance across tax engagements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the business tax team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Support business growth through client relationship management, proposals, and thought leadership initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Law or a related field.
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) and/or a recognized tax certification
• In-depth knowledge of the UAE tax laws and strong understanding of international tax principles and OECD guidelines.

Experience

• Minimum 20 years of experience in corporate and international tax advisory, including UAE corporate tax compliance, structuring, and cross-border advisory.
• Significant experience within a Big Four or equivalent professional services firm, with a proven track record of managing key client portfolios and leading technical tax teams.
