Your role:

What you’ll be doing
Designing, developing, and evolving high-performance backend systems that power our global solutions.
Building and maintaining microservices-based applications with clean, efficient, and well-structured code.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and ensure quality delivery.
Actively contributing to code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Supporting internal and external stakeholders when needed.
Staying current with Java trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 4+ years of professional Java development experience.
Solid experience with Java 17 (migration to Java 25 underway) and Spring Boot 2.6 (upgrade to Spring Boot 4 underway).
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and multithreading/concurrency.
Excellent command of the Greek & English language, both written and spoken.
Experience with MySQL, Hibernate/JPA, JUnit, Git, and modern software development workflows, including automated testing.
Hands-on experience with Generative AI/LLM tools in the software development lifecycle, including effective prompting, code validation, security, and responsible AI-assisted development. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, CI/CD, observability, and production troubleshooting is a plus.
Collaborative and proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to writing maintainable, high-quality software.
