Role Overview:
Baltic Amadeus is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality of mobile applications across frontend, backend, and integration layers. The role combines manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on Java-based test automation and API testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end mobile application testing across Android/iOS, covering UI, backend, API, and integration layers.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Java, Selenide, and TestNG.
- Perform automated and manual API testing using REST-assured, Postman, or similar tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Perform exploratory testing and define and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Use cloud testing platforms such as LambdaTest, BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs, and manage defects using Jira.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other cross-functional teams to align testing scope, coverage, and quality standards.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Strong experience in software testing and QA methodologies.
- Proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with Selenide and TestNG for test automation.
- Experience with REST-assured, Postman, or similar API testing tools.
- Knowledge of GitLab CI or similar CI/CD tools.
- Experience with LambdaTest, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Experience with Jira or similar bug/test management tools.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Very good English language skills.
Hourly Rate: up to 35 EUR (Gross). If you have different expectations, please let us know - we are open to discussing compensation based on your skills and experience.
