The Difference You Make:
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company by assisting the data steward department. You will focus on learning how our organization runs.
Data Governance & Data Owner Support
Support the preparation and coordination of monthly Data Owner materials and meetings across the Bank’s key domains, including:
- Risk
- Finance
- Operations
- Commercial
- Products
- Premier Banking
Assist in gathering and validating information from stakeholders, preparing meeting materials, documenting key decisions and action items, and tracking outstanding deliverables through completion.
Project & Data Quality Rule Attestation
Support periodic attestation activities with Data Owners and business domains to review existing data management projects and data quality rules.
Responsibilities may include coordinating reviews, preparing inventories, collecting stakeholder feedback, documenting attestations, identifying items requiring modification or retirement, and tracking resulting actions.
By the end of the internship, the intern is expected to have contributed to the monthly Data Owner governance cycle, ITWG reporting, project and rule attestations, BAU data quality rule management, remediation tracking, and stakeholder follow-ups.
The intern should also complete at least one process-improvement initiative that leaves the Data Management team with a measurable improvement, such as an enhanced tracker, dashboard, standardized reporting package, improved documentation process, or streamlined governance workflow.

Education:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance or similar discipline.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and follow up on outstanding deliverables.
- Comfortable working with stakeholders across different business and functional areas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest in data management, data governance, banking, risk management, or data analytics.
- Experience with data visualization or analytical tools is beneficial but not required.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
