Branch Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and commercially focused Branch Manager to lead our Brooklyn, VIC branch. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who enjoys driving business performance, developing high-performing teams and building strong customer relationships.

As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day operations of the Brooklyn branch, ensuring the business achieves or exceeds sales, margin and operational targets.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will lead a team across sales, warehouse and branch operations while driving customer service excellence and business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a high-performing branch team
- Managing branch sales, profitability and operational performance
- Monitoring sales and margin performance and implementing improvement strategies
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers
- Identifying opportunities to grow revenue and expand market share
- Managing branch inventory, stock control and stocktakes
- Overseeing warehouse operations, safety and security standards
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and Work Health & Safety requirements
- Managing branch administration, reporting, invoicing, banking and debtors
- Conducting regular team meetings, coaching and performance reviews
- Supporting and developing team capability through training and mentoring
- Handling complex customer enquiries and delivering exceptional customer service
- Working closely with Sales Representatives and Regional Leadership to achieve business objectives

Essential Requirements
- Strong leadership and people management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing branch, warehouse, retail or trade operations
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
- Sound understanding of financial performance, margins and account management
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Strong understanding of Work Health & Safety principles
Desirable but Not Essential
- Diploma or Degree in Business or a related field
- Experience within the heavy vehicle, transport, automotive, industrial or trade sectors
- Knowledge of truck and trailer parts
- Experience managing multiple functions including sales, warehouse and customer service teams
