Job Description

Purpose of the role

To develop and manage the success of specific financial products and services, providing in-depth expertise on a particular product line, bridging the gap between product development, marketing, sales, and customer service.

Accountabilities

  • Provision of SME expertise on specific products and services to customers and colleagues, including features, functionalities, benefits, limitations, risks and compliance.
  • Identification of market trends, new features, regulatory requirements and potential risks, and analysis of data obtained from sales figures and, customer feedback, to support the product development process, and communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders to improve product offerings.
  • Response to customer inquiries, resolution of issues, and provision of guidance on product usage. .
  • Presentation of the advantages and features of the product to potential customers, building trust and encouraging adoption.
  • Assistance with the development and execution of marketing materials for the product, such as brochures, presentations, and online content.
  • Participation in training sessions and workshops to share product knowledge and expertise with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Participation in events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to showcase the product and generate interest.

Join Barclays as an FX Product Manager, VP, where you will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of FX products and services supporting Corporate Banking clients across the Transaction Banking franchise. You will define the product vision, develop and prioritize the roadmap, commercialize market-leading solutions, enhance existing capabilities, and drive digital transformation initiatives that deliver sustainable business growth. Serving as the product owner for designated FX capabilities, you will balance client needs, commercial viability, operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and technical feasibility while collaborating closely with Sales, Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Finance. To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of foreign exchange products, cross-border payments, corporate treasury requirements, market dynamics, technology platforms, and the regulatory environment affecting FX solutions.

To be successful as a FX Product Manager, VP, you should have:

  • Deep understanding of FX and Payments products, including Wire, ACH, Check, FX, and cross-border payment solutions

  • Knowledge of industry standards and messaging formats including SWIFT, MT, ISO 20022 XML, and NACHA

  • Financial services experience with strong knowledge of Corporate Banking products and the regulatory environment

  • Proven track record of owning and delivering strategic product initiatives

  • Experience developing and managing product roadmaps and product backlogs

Minimum Salary: $155,000

Maximum Salary: $200,000
