Position Details:
Locations: East Granby, CT or East Hartford, CT

Your Expertise:
- 2+ years of quality control inspection experience in an aerospace or general manufacturing environment
- Previous experience performing dimensional and visual inspection in an aerospace environment
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, blueprints, repair manuals, and customer specifications
- Must have working knowledge of analog geometric dimensioning tolerancing GD&T, gauges, micrometers, borescopes, verniers, calipers and other analog measuring tools
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required
- Proficiency in operating CMMs using PC-DMIS and/or MODUS software
- Previous experience performing incoming, in process, or final inspections in a turbine engine repair environment

Your Challenge:
- Perform final inspection of finished aerospace engine parts and components
- Measure various features and holes on part or component and determine if the part is acceptable to customer requirements
- Inspection includes visual and dimensional using requited gauging and measuring equipment
- Interpret operation sheets and blueprints to meet customer requirements
- Ensure that all parts meet criteria as acceptable
- If a part is defective or needs re-work, complete required paperwork
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Salary: $23/hour - $42/hour
