Position Description:
Nevada Gold Mines is looking for a Predictive Maintenance Technician to join Reliability Engineering team. Responsibilities:
Reporting to a Senior Reliability Engineer, the Predictive Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following;
- Review daily oil analysis reports & investigate with follow up samples, filter inspections & operational checks
- Audit oil sampling quality & PM inspection findings
- Monitor component operating hours and developing failure trends.
- Collect and analyze data on all types of equipment using predictive maintenance technologies
- Develop and maintain predictive maintenance technology databases
- Support the implementation of new inspection technologies and condition-monitoring tools
- Support and maintain equipment health watchlist with documented recommendations
- Review OEM fault codes and recommend actions for prevention
- Perform physical inspections of high-risk equipment.
- Generate and distribute condition and follow up reports to all levels of management
- Support RCA investigations of major equipment failures with the Reliability Maintenance team
- Identify recurring failures, poor maintenance practices, or component design weaknesses
- Assist with equipment modifications, prototypes, and reliability upgrades.
- Attend daily maintenance meetings and communicate developing reliability concerns
- Translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for supervisors and planners
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven safety record required
- Excellent attendance record required
- Previous training and experience with application of predictive maintenance technologies and associated software and hardware preferred
- (4) years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of process equipment preferred
- Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word preferred
- Ability to schedule and prioritize workload required
- Demonstrate ability to perform the essential function of the job required
- The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
