We are looking for a Senior Customer Service Specialist.

The purpose of this role is to manage key accounts of customer service and order-to-cash activities to ensure effective order execution, issue resolution, and a high-quality customer experience. You will act as a key point of contact between customers and internal stakeholders, proactively identifying solutions, coordinating cross-functional actions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to operational excellence and business objectives.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Managing order-to-cash activities such as expediting, basic returns, back-order monitoring, sample and zero-dollar orders, consignment order process, and removing obstacles that may impact customer requirements and BASF’s ability to satisfy them.
• Executing the Customer Non-Conformance process, including investigation and reporting.
• Completing material availability inquiries and price discrepancy reporting.
• Managing direct-to-customer order imports and collaborating with local and global colleagues to provide streamlined communication on order status.
• Providing consistent, high quality service and acting as a liaison for customers and external service providers.
• Understanding and enforcing stablished business rules and raising awareness of situations that requires cross functional coordination for resolution.
• Supporting training and troubleshooting, and offering solutions to customers including those related to the eCommerce order stream.
• Effectively managing complex Customer Service projects and timelines, including organizing key deliverables, establishing and meeting deadlines, managing and resolving action items, sharing information with stakeholders, making decision, collaboration across teams and delivering final presentations.
• Participating in orientation and training for new hires, serving as a secondary trainer and mentoring peers.

If you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Customer Service and/or Supply Chain.
• Strong customer orientation, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
• Experience working with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
