Senior Specialist Digital Pricing (m/f/d)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as senior consultant and technical expert for the Digital Pricing Framework based on PROS/Conga Pricing Suite, integrated with Salesforce.
• Combine deep technical expertise with strategic ownership of architecture, development, administration, and platform integration.
• Shape the future development of the Pricing Framework across CPQ, price management, AI-based pricing, and quotation management.
• Ensure stable, scalable, and future-proof platform development across business-critical pricing processes.
• Lead and support upcoming SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA ERP integrations.
• Advise business stakeholders on digitalization opportunities in pricing and quotation management.
• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories for agile delivery.
• Contribute actively to an agile, self-organized DevOps team and drive continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce.
• Strong domain knowledge in pricing, including price management, CPQ, price optimization, or AI-based pricing.
• Industry experience in chemicals, materials, or related B2B manufacturing sectors.
• Experience in agile software development and cross-functional delivery.
• Proven ability to work effectively in global and virtual teams or projects.
• Strong analytical capabilities and sound judgment in complex, fast-moving environments.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to foster a positive, energized, and solution-oriented culture.
• Growth mindset with curiosity to learn, improve, and adopt emerging technologies.
• Experience with quoting and pricing solutions, preferably PROS/Conga Pricing Suite.
• Proficiency in Salesforce Sales Cloud configuration.
• Strong knowledge of SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA ERP.
• Solid understanding of eCommerce platforms and related business processes.
• Experience in agentic AI concepts and their potential application in digital pricing.
• Programmatic Salesforce know-how, for example Apex, is preferred.
