About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Officer specializing in proposal writing to support iCareer’s growth across the international development, B2B, and B2G sectors.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying funding and tender opportunities, developing compelling and compliant proposals, and coordinating submissions to help secure new business opportunities across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the wider region.
Requirements
Must-have:
At least 2 years of experience in business development, proposal writing, or bid management.
Experience preparing proposals or bids for corporate (B2B), government (B2G), or donor-funded clients.
Strong proposal writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to interpret complex requirements and evaluation criteria.
Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English.
Proven ability to coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders and manage tight deadlines.
Strong research, analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
Basic understanding of budgeting and financial concepts.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, International Development, Economics, Languages, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, spreadsheets, CRM systems, and pipeline tracking tools.
Ability to leverage AI tools to support research, writing, and productivity.
Nice to have:
Experience in employability, TVET, EdTech, training, career advisory, or donor-funded development projects.
Familiarity with international development organizations, donor requirements, and government procurement procedures.
Experience working across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, or other regional markets.
