Senior AI Engineer (Google Cloud)

Prerequisite: Google Cloud Professional certification

Bayseian builds agentic AI systems for enterprise clients across the UK, GCC, and APAC. We're Google Cloud-native: Vertex AI and the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) sit at the core of how we deliver. We're scaling our GCP engineering bench, and we need engineers who can ship production systems and help carry the weight of partner specialization requirements.

This is a hands-on role. You'll architect multi-agent systems on Vertex AI, design MCP-based orchestration layers, and own delivery of GCP-native solutions for clients ranging from Saudi giga-projects to Southeast Asian agri-food groups.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy multi-agent systems using Google ADK and Vertex AI Agent Builder
• Build production-grade RAG pipelines using Vertex AI Search, pgvector, and Gemini models
• Architect MCP server and connector layers that orchestrate agents across enterprise systems
• Work directly with clients to scope, design, and deliver GCP-native AI solutions
• Set up CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), observability, and cost governance on GCP projects
• Contribute to internal IP including agent frameworks, evaluation harnesses, and reference architectures
• Help build the case studies and technical content that support our GCP Partner Advantage submissions

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of hands-on engineering experience, with at least 2 years on Google Cloud
• At least one current Google Cloud Professional certification. We strongly prefer Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Machine Learning Engineer, or Professional Data Engineer. Multiple certs are a significant plus, as they count directly toward our partner specialization thresholds
• Strong Python, with comfort across FastAPI, async patterns, and the wider data/ML tooling ecosystem
• Production experience deploying LLM-based systems, including prompt engineering, evaluation, and observability
• Working knowledge of at least one of: Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataflow
• Solid grasp of cloud security fundamentals (IAM, VPC-SC, KMS, Secret Manager)
• The ability to translate fuzzy client problems into clean technical scope and explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Google ADK, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar agent frameworks
• Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and connector design
• Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy environments (financial services, healthcare, government, GCC public sector)
• Arabic language skills or prior delivery experience with GCC clients
• Background at a Google Cloud Partner, big four consultancy, or systems integrator

We're a distributed team across the UK, GCC, and APAC. We hire senior, give people real ownership, and stay close to the work. You'll report into the CTO and work alongside engineers on multiple client engagements at once.
