The opportunity
On the back of exciting project wins, and in conjunction with an active portfolio of current projects for aviation clients such as Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Gold Coast Airports, and the Department of Defence, we are looking for an early career level Civil Engineer to join the team in Brisbane.
Our Airports team specialises in the design of heavy-duty pavements, airfield drainage, bulk earthworks, general civil engineering and airfield planning. We have developed a reputation in industry for our commitment to excellence, successful project completion and sustained business growth.
Based in Brisbane, we are looking for a Civil Engineer, preferably with experience in airfield design, construction and / or maintenance, but we will also look at road or general civils experience.
Given the broad nature of our works the ideal candidate will have knowledge/capability in one or more of the following design software AutoCAD, Civil 3D, FAARFIELD, AVIPLAN or 12D.
As a Civil Engineer within our team, part of your role will be to support the pursuit of opportunities including bid writing, resourcing and the development of project fees.
During the delivery of projects, you’ll leverage your previous experience and work collaboratively with the team to produce innovative, cost-effective solutions to our clients’ problems. The role will also see you participating in site inspections and construction administration and monitoring.
Our work takes us to the far-flung corners of Australia, so there will be travel and time away from home involved - if you are looking for some adventure in your work, this opportunity is for you.
Due to the nature of our work, you will ideally have the ability to gain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and have Australian citizenship, as well as the ability to gain CPEng status
