We currently have an opportunity for a Cleaner. Join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality cleaning and sanitisation services across the MTM rail network, which includes a fleet of over 460 three-carriage trains that run on a network consisting of 15 lines. Reporting to the Cleaning Service Manager and Operations Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

The Opportunity

This position involves working unsupervised to provide a high-quality cleaning service. The position involves manual handling and lifting and may require you to stand and/or walk for lengthy periods. You will also be working in varying temperatures and weather conditions, and noisy environments at times due to working near trains and trams.

Shift:

  • Sunday to Thursday 8pm to 2:30am

We are looking to fill position in the following areas:

  • Kananook

  • Sandringham

  • Ringwood

  • Lilydale

Important Skills (experience required)

  • Desire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment, where you will work as part of a high-performance team focused on working safely and diligently.

  • Having strong Communication and Customer Service skills

  • Previous Cleaning Experience is preferrable but not essential.

  • Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card desirable but not necessary

  • Must have Current National Police Check (within twelve months from date of issue)

  • Candidates having their own transportation will be prioritized.
