Facilities Maintenance Manager - Ormeau
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead the delivery of infrastructure, facilities, plant and equipment maintenance at our new QTMP Ormeau Maintenance Centre.
In this exciting and a pivotal role, where you will initially deliver against the site’s operational readiness program, and as the site transitions to operation drive performance, reliability and safety across sites infrastructure and facilities maintenance leading a high-performing team and supply chain to deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance while supporting critical infrastructure projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage all facilities and infrastructure maintenance activities across the Ormeau site and supporting locations
- Support and deliver against facilities and infrastructure requirements for the Ormeau site’s readiness program
- Establish required Technical Maintenance Plans, Standar Operating Procedures for the maintenance of the Ormeau site
- Working with the Procurement team to establish third-party maintenance agreements
- Deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance in line with the Technical Maintenance Plan
- Oversee facility projects, including upgrades, installations and minor capital works
- Drive Zero Harm outcomes, ensuring safe systems of work and strong HSE performance
- Manage service contracts, budgeting, cost control and resource planning for maintenance activities
- Partner with Operations to ensure minimal disruption to production and service delivery
- Lead, coach and develop the Facilities Maintenance team and contractors
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and external partners
- Identify and implement continuous improvement, innovation and sustainability initiatives
You will bring
- 5+ years' experience in a similar or equivalent role
- Trade qualification or relevant Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience leading maintenance teams and third-party contractors
- Experience managing budgets, cost control and performance outcomes
- Understanding of building regulations and standards including Australian Standards relevant to Asset and Facilities Management.
- Have sound experience in Digital Maintenance Management Systems (preferably IBM Maximo)
