Regional Operations Manager
We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Operations Manager. Join our Health and Education team and play a key role in leading the safe, compliant and cost-effective delivery of facilities management, maintenance support and cleaning services across an assigned portfolio of Victorian schools. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
Supporting four schools across southeast region (Cranbourne West, Cranbourne North, Clyde North and Pakenham), you'll be a visible leader who builds strong stakeholder relationships while ensuring operational excellence, compliance and customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on role requiring regular travel between school sites and the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
Lead the safe, compliant and cost-effective delivery of facilities management, maintenance and cleaning services across a portfolio of schools.
Manage nine direct reports including School Officers, cleaners and subcontractors to achieve service, safety and quality outcomes.
Drive contract performance through effective planning, scheduling, reporting and KPI management.
Oversee operational budgets, risk management, compliance activities and audit requirements.
Build strong relationships with school stakeholders and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
Experience leading commercial cleaning, facilities management or maintenance operations within a service-based environment.
Proven people leadership experience including coaching, workforce planning and performance management.
Experience managing contract KPIs, budgets, operational reporting and risk.
Strong knowledge of WHS, quality and compliance requirements.
A current Driver Licence, car and Working with Children Check
