Operation & Maintenance Technician

A member of BEUMER Group, located in Singapore BEUMER Group Singapore Pte. Ltd. is strategically located at the Singapore Changi International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the world. We have more than 200 employees working in our various business segments such as Airport systems, Logistics and Customer Support.
The role of the Technician is to carry out routine and non-routine maintenance activities. The Technician ensures the quality of maintenance work in his/her designated area and ensures that the necessary standards of housekeeping and safe work practices are maintained.
- Operations and Maintenance of the Baggage Handling System (BHS) in Singapore Changi Airport.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations while executing tasks.
- Execute quality and timely work.
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance activities in one or more designated work areas.
- Respond quickly to faults and disruptions of the BHS system.
- Adhere to customer site rules and regulations.
- Deliver materials in need of repair to respective site.
- Return excess materials to delivery zones or the main office.
- Enter accurate and timely work order completion data.
- Contribute to modification or replacement of equipment.
- Assist with the installation of new assets.
- Assist with overall site housekeeping.
- Assist with work planning.
- Assists in breakdown recovery.
- Updates and upkeeps maintenance checklist.
- Updates and upkeeps pre-emptive maintenance checklist.
- Replacement of all equipment on request.
Electrical Technician
- NTC / Nitec / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
- OR similar technical certification from a reputable institute.
- Able to read electrical drawing or circuit diagram.
- Relevant working experience.
- Hands-on knowledge on PLC and Frequency Inverters will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
- Able to work in a rotating shift.
Mechanical Technician
- NTC / Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering.
- OR similar technical certification from a reputable institute.
- Relevant working experience.
- Hands-on knowledge on conveyor systems will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
- Able to work in a rotating shift.
- Work location is in Changi Airport
- Work will be in a restricted area which requires screening by the Airport Police Division.
- Work shift pattern:
- One cycle (2 mornings à 2 afternoons à 2 nights à 2 off days)
- Morning shift - 7.30 am to 3.30 pm
- Afternoon shift - 3.00 pm to 10.30 pm
- Night shift - 10.00 pm to 8.00 am
