Responsibilities
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Provide technical support and issue resolution for enterprise Windows Server environments.
- Diagnose Windows Server system failures, performance issues, and stability problems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Active Directory environments.
- Resolve issues related to Domain Controllers, AD replication, DNS, Group Policy, and other associated technologies.
- Diagnose authentication and related issues in AD FS environments.
- Provide technical support for AD RMS / Rights Management.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize the WSUS patch management platform.
- Participate in Windows Server upgrades, migrations, architecture optimization, and health checks.
- Conduct root cause analysis for complex technical issues and drive them through to closure.
- Develop technical solutions based on actual issues and assist with implementation and validation.
- Prepare incident reports, root cause analysis reports, technical solution documents, health check reports, and other technical documentation.
- Collaborate with customer technical teams on technical discussions, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.
- Recommend stability and performance improvements for Windows Server, Active Directory, and related infrastructure based on the actual environment.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
At least five years of enterprise-level technical experience with Windows Server.
Proficiency in Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
Proficiency in Active Directory.
Strong knowledge of core technologies such as AD replication, DNS, Group Policy, and Domain Controllers.
Familiarity with AD FS.
Familiarity with AD RMS / Rights Management.
Familiarity with WSUS, including patch management, client connectivity, synchronization, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in PowerShell.
Strong Windows Server troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
Experience implementing, operating, maintaining, or supporting large-enterprise Windows Server / Active Directory environments.
Ability to work independently with customer technical teams and drive complex issues to resolution.
Willingness to work on-site in both Dongguan and Shenzhen.
SQL Server Capabilities (Not Mandatory):
Candidates with SQL Server expertise will be preferred, including experience in:
SQL Server installation, configuration, and maintenance;
SQL Server performance analysis and optimization;
SQL Server high availability;
Troubleshooting database connectivity, authentication, and permission issues;
Troubleshooting integration issues between SQL Server and Windows Server / Active Directory;
Analyzing common SQL Server performance and stability issues.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Microsoft CSS services is preferred;
- Microsoft-related certifications are preferred;
- Experience with large-enterprise Windows Server / Active Directory environments;
- Familiarity with SQL Server;
- Familiarity with PowerShell automation;
- Familiarity with Microsoft enterprise technologies such as AD FS and AD RMS;
- Experience providing technical support to large enterprise customers;
- Experience managing complex incidents and problems;
- Ability to independently analyze complex Windows Server / Active Directory issues and identify their root causes.
