Bridge & Structures Practice Leader - Florida | Remote

Remote within Florida | $180,000-$250,000+

You've built the experience. Now come build the practice.

We're looking for an experienced transportation structures leader who is ready for more than simply managing the next project.

This is an opportunity to help build and lead our transportation structures practice in Florida, grow a team around you, strengthen client relationships, pursue the work you want to pursue, and have a real voice in where the practice goes next.

And you don't need to relocate or sit in an office five days a week to do it.

This position can be remote within Florida, with occasional travel for client meetings, team collaboration, project needs, and office visits.

If you know the Florida transportation and bridge market, enjoy building relationships, and like the idea of putting your own stamp on a growing practice, we'd like to talk.

What's In It for You?

This isn't just another senior bridge engineering position. We're looking for someone who wants the opportunity to lead, influence, and build.

  • Build and grow a Florida structures team with a meaningful voice in hiring and developing the people around you.
  • Help shape the strategy for where the practice grows, which clients we pursue, and where we invest.
  • Develop and expand client relationships across the Florida transportation market.
  • Lead your way. We'relooking for someone with the experience and judgment to help drive the practice, not simply execute someone else's playbook.

  • Work remotely within Florida while staying connected to clients and the broader team.
  • Take on a role with significant visibility, responsibility, and opportunity for long-term growth.
  • Earn a competitive $180,000-$250,000+ compensation package, depending on experience.

What You'll Do

You'll lead the growth and delivery of our Florida transportation structures practice with a balance of people leadership, client development, business strategy, and technical oversight.

  • Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing transportation structuresteam.
  • Grow relationships with FDOT, local agencies, teaming partners, and other transportation clients.
  • Identifyand pursue new opportunities, develop winning strategies, and strengthen our presence in the Florida market.

  • Oversee project delivery while keeping an eye on scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.
  • Guideprojects involving bridges, retainingwalls, culverts, sign structures, foundations, rehabilitation, and related transportation infrastructure.
  • Partner with other disciplines and leaders across the company to pursue and deliver larger multidisciplinary opportunities.
  • Help recruit the next generation of the team and create an environment where good engineers want to stay and grow.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a relateddiscipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, with a Florida PE or the ability to obtain one.
  • Significant experiencein bridge and transportation structures engineering, typically 12+ years.
  • Experience delivering projects for FDOT or other state DOT/transportation agencies.
  • A strong understanding of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and transportation structures design and delivery.
  • Experience leading engineers, developing teams, and mentoring people.
  • A track recordof building strong client relationships and helping win work.
  • Experience managing projects from pursuit through final delivery.
