Product Manager - Clearing and Settlement

Duties

• Manage the design and implementation of the company's TradFi clearing and settlement platform product
• Drive the product development strategy and execution for the TradFi clearing and settlement platform, particularly focusing on backend functionalities
• Oversee the design of comprehensive lifecycle management processes, encompassing trade and non-trade reconciliation, anomaly detection, error management, and settlement
• Establish and track essential system and business metrics, such as false positive rate, processing duration, and reliability, and drive ongoing enhancement through data analysis and experimentation
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, spot operations, futures operations, treasury, and finance teams to create robust systems for settlement, reconciliation, and fund flow management
• Engage with external stakeholders to integrate systems and address any operational issues
• Act as a proactive contributor, identifying system/process gaps and overseeing end-to-end implementation in a dynamic, fast-paced setting

Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in clearing & settlement, fintech, or platform/infrastructure products
• Background in Accountancy and/or Finance is advantageous
• Thorough understanding of settlement, reconciliation, ledger systems, and fund flow design
• Knowledge of backend system design and APIs; comfortable collaborating closely with engineering teams on system architecture
• Possess a data-driven and analytical mindset, utilizing metrics to steer product decisions
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in a global or multi-regional context
• Demonstrate ownership and structured thinking with the capability to work independently in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin is required for coordination with external partners and stakeholders
