As a Senior Software Engineer (SDE-2), you shape the experience every contractor, retailer and supplier has on Birla Pivot's apps.

Responsibilities:

• Build visually appealing, high-performing mobile and web experiences used across India's construction materials industry.
• Own your work end to end — from design discussions to deployment, rollout and support.
• Solve industry-first problems early in our growth story, with the backing of the Aditya Birla Group.

Frontend Development (Mobile):

• Build visually appealing, high-performing apps for Android and iOS.
• Create reusable UI components and integrate them seamlessly with backend APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
• Bring expertise in web frontend development for a consistent mobile and web experience.

Solution and Technical Design:

• Understand business processes and customer value propositions, and come up with optimal technical solutions.
• Contribute to technical and integration design discussions and documentation.

Engineering Excellence:

• Follow engineering best practices, with a focus on app security, performance, scalability and reliability.
• Stay up to date on emerging mobile and web technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing and technical guidance.

Ownership and Delivery:

• Own deployment, rollout, maintenance and support for the application.

Requirements:

• Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience.
• Prior experience in leading and mentoring a highly motivated engineering team.
• Strong hands-on experience building web and mobile applications using React and React Native.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Experience in the digital commerce and retail domain preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making capabilities.
• Clarity of thinking and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with backend technologies and DevOps is a plus.
