Electrical Safety

  • Safety Programs: Enforce NFPA 70E, arc-flash, LOTO, and energized-work procedures.
  • Switching Procedures: Review and approve Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for energization and switching.
  • Documentation: Ensure single-line diagrams, as-builts, and arc-flash labeling are accurate at turnover.

How you will stand out

  • Safety Leadership: Stops work when it is unsafe and sets a high bar for electrical safety.
  • Problem Solving: Resolves field issues quickly with engineers and vendors.
  • Coordination: Aligns utilities, contractors, and vendors around one energization plan.
  • Clear Communication: Explains electrical risks and trade-offs to non-electrical stakeholders.
