Responsibilities:

  • Implementing changes to production infrastructure where uptime is key.
  • Maintain high availability of the service.
  • Be a member of the operations response team (on-call).
  • Facilitate deployment of new code.
  • Support operational monitoring and alerting.
  • Ensure the reliability and availability of our logging platform.
  • Maintain our microservices stack on Kubernetes and AWS.
  • Support deployment strategy, automation, scripting, and workflow.
  • Automation: infrastructure as code using Terraform.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in a DevOps or cloud infrastructure-related role.
  • Strong experience with Linux administration.
  • Fluency with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Prometheus, and ELK.
  • Fluency with Bash, Python, or Golang.
  • Experience working with microservice-based systems.
  • Experience with scaling and performance of large systems.
  • Strong experience with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
  • Strong security background.
  • Experience being a member of an on-call rotation.
  • Interest in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
  • Knowledge of immutable infrastructure design.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript/Typescript, Rust, Java, or C.
