Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of back-end, server-side software development.
  • Great at algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Strong experience with server-side languages TypeScript and Node.js .
  • Strong experience with SQL databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Strong experience with RESTful API design.
  • Experience with unit and functional testing and debugging.
  • Experience with microservices and service-orientated architectures.
  • Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter, proactively learning, debugging, and understanding complex systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, applied mathematics, or another technical discipline from a top university.

Preferred:

  • Experience designing and implementing A/B testing frameworks and instrumentation.
  • Understanding of conversion funnels, user segmentation, and growth loops.
  • Familiarity with Containers, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Ability to work full-stack with strong collaboration with UI engineers on performance and optimisations.
  • Understanding of and experience working in the financial industry or familiarity with any of the following: digital wallets, clearing and settlement, lending, trading, accounting systems, etc.
