Consumer & Market Insights Specialist

About the role

We're looking for an Insights Specialist to build and run the Consumer & Market Insights Specialist function at a leading tech company in the conversational AI space. This is a senior, high-visibility mandate: you'll own how the company understands its market - category positioning, buyer behavior, brand health, market segmentation, ICP verticals and emerging trends - and you'll be measured by the decisions your intelligence changes, not the reports you produce.

Scope is global - Brazil, LATAM, and EMEA - with stakeholders across Product Marketing, Branding, Revenue, Product, and C-level leadership. You'll define the strategy, methodology, and cadence: this role owns the "what" and the "so what," not just the execution.

What you'll own

• Category Intelligence - Shape how the market defines and evaluates conversational AI, turning category ambiguity into narrative advantage for Product Marketing and Brand.
• Buyer & Customer Insights - Decode why buyers choose, delay, or walk away, giving PMM and Sales the evidence to sharpen messaging, pricing, and packaging with confidence.
• Segmentation & Vertical Intelligence - Develop and apply market segmentation methods and arm Sales and Product Marketing with vertical-specific evidence that drives go-to-market in priority industries.
• Brand Intelligence - Build and run a global brand tracking program, measuring equity, perception, and category association across Brazil, LATAM, and EMEA, and connecting shifts to business outcomes.
• Foresight & Trends - Give leadership a strategic view of market shifts so the company leads trends instead of reacting to them.
• Insights Operations & AI Enablement - Turn Insights into a strategic partner function, using AI agents & assistants to multiply speed, depth, and coverage.

What you bring

• 5+ years in Market Research, Consumer Insights, or Market Intelligence - ideally in B2B SaaS or tech platforms
• A track record of intelligence that changed a real decision - GTM strategy, brand building strategy, pricing, product direction, or new market entry
• Ability to deploy agents and assistants to automate work using Claude, Gemini and other tools
• Strong mixed-method research skills: qualitative (interviews, win-loss, ethnographic) and quantitative (surveys, segmentation, sizing)
• A natural bridge-builder and orchestrator: Exceptional ability to break down silos and connect cross-functional teams. You excel at building consensus through positive influence, transforming diverse perspectives into a cohesive strategy for shared success. 
• Executive-level communication - the ability to compress complex findings into clear, confident narratives
• Advanced English
