QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, primarily focused on identifying the right test scenarios for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End-to-End (E2E) testing. The role involves understanding business requirements, analysing user workflows, identifying positive and negative scenarios, covering edge cases, and ensuring critical business flows are thoroughly tested using Playwright.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement Conformance (core focus): Verify every deliverable against the SRS.
• Catch, document, and track deviations with precise spec references.
• Build and maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix: full SRS coverage, no gaps.
• Automate UI testing with Playwright and API testing with Playwright APIRequestContext.
• Design and execute integration tests across modules, services, and third-party APIs.
• Perform security testing on inputs and APIs: SQL Injection, XSS, authentication bypass, and session handling.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD; publish reports; sign off on releases.

Requirements:

• 4+ years in QA.
• Strong hands-on Playwright (UI + API).
• Proven integration testing experience.
• Proven SRS/requirements-based testing experience - you test against the document, not assumptions.
• Solid API testing fundamentals (auth, request/response validation).
• Working knowledge of web security testing: SQL Injection, XSS, OWASP Top 10 basics.
• Sharp attention to detail to spot ambiguity in specs before dev does.
