Automotive Technician Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and scheduled maintenance services.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, steering, and brake systems.
• Perform accurate vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs and diagnose customer concerns.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining manufacturer and dealership quality standards.
• Document repair procedures and maintain accurate repair orders.
• Utilize factory diagnostic equipment and follow manufacturer repair procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in manufacturer training and continuing education to stay current with evolving vehicle technology.
• Work collaboratively with service advisors and teammates to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
