About the Role

As Bolt.Earth continues to scale its business and transition towards a direct billing model with dealers, we are looking for a Finance Intern to support the Finance team with increased operational activities related to invoicing, collections, reconciliation, and dealer coordination.

This role will provide an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to finance operations in a fast-growing EV company while supporting the team in streamlining and improving day-to-day processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Finance team in preparing and processing invoices for dealers and other customers.
• Assist with tracking outstanding payments and collections from dealers.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, outstanding balances, and collection status.
• Support account reconciliation and identify discrepancies in billing and payment records.
• Coordinate with internal teams and dealers for invoice-related queries and payment follow-ups.
• Assist in maintaining and updating finance trackers and reports.
• Support the team in validating billing data and ensuring accuracy of financial records.
• Help streamline recurring finance operations and improve process efficiency.
• Assist with other day-to-day Finance and Accounts activities as required.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or a related finance/accounting course.
• Basic understanding of accounting, invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to follow up effectively and maintain organized records.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Good to Have

• Internship or prior exposure to Finance/Accounts operations.
• Familiarity with accounting/ERP software such as Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar tools.
• Exposure to invoicing, accounts receivable, or collections processes.
• Basic understanding of GST and taxation is an added advantage.
