About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Shopify Developer (Lead role) to join our development team. This role focuses on building extremely custom Shopify storefronts using headless Shopify and Shopify Plus, leveraging your expertise in back-end development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of custom Shopify stores, with a focus on back-end development, using headless Shopify and Shopify Plus features.
- Design and implement integrations with third-party services and APIs, ensuring seamless connections to external systems, including payment gateways, CRMs, and inventory management.
- Build highly customized Shopify storefronts, extending the capabilities of Shopify's headless eCommerce model to meet unique client needs.
- Work with Node.js and PHP in conjunction with Shopify's backend to develop and optimize server-side features for large-scale, performance-driven websites.
- Ensure optimal site performance, fast load times, and scalable architecture.
- Work closely with clients and project managers to provide technical guidance.
- Mentor junior developers and guide best practices for code quality.
- Provide ongoing support for existing Shopify stores.
Tech Stack:
- Liquid, PHP, Node.js, Next.js, GraphQL, Git.
What we're looking for:
- 8-15 years of back-end development experience.
- Strong portfolio of custom Shopify projects, particularly in headless Shopify and Shopify Plus.
- Expertise in back-end optimization, caching strategies, and database optimization.
- Solid knowledge of SEO best practices for Shopify stores.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
