Data Engineer | Honeytech

We are currently looking for a Data Engineer to join our product IT company, Honeytech, which creates digital entertainment products and develops its own platforms in the webcomics and anime space for a global audience.

Honeytech is a dynamic, fast-growing project that has already become #1 in its niche! Imagine Netflix, but for comics - in just a few years, we’ve gathered over 15 million users, challenged giants from South Korea, and proven that it’s possible to build a world-class product from Ukraine.

As a Data Engineer, your challenges will include:

• Building, monitoring, and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Connecting new data sources, including APIs, databases, files, and events.
• Extracting data from advertising platforms such as Meta, Google Ads, and others, processing it, and preparing it for analytical reports.
• Optimizing Data Warehouse costs.
• Setting up data quality processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborating with analysts on a daily basis and on specific tasks.

We are looking for a specialist who:

• Has 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in related roles.
• Has strong Python and SQL skills.
• Has experience building ETL/ELT processes using any of the following tools: Dataform, Airflow, dbt, or Prefect.
• Has a practical understanding of Git.
• Understands the business context behind tasks and how data is used across business units.

Will be a plus:

• Experience extracting data from advertising platforms such as Meta Ads and Google Ads.
• Experience working with Google Cloud or BigQuery.
• Experience using AI agents to orchestrate and optimize data pipelines.
• English at Intermediate level or higher.
