AI Solution Architect

The Opportunity:

Design and implement effective AI solution architecture or strategy utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs while complying with the organization’s strategies and business goals and key ethical considerations. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.

You Have:

• Experienceintegrating AI capabilities into business processes, workflows, or production software applications

• Experiencewith AI-assisted development tooling, including GitHub Copilot, Copilot CLI, Codex, or Claude Code

• Experiencewith GitHub Actions for CI/CD, workflow automation, or pipeline orchestration

• Experiencedeveloping in NodeJS, .NET, or SQL

• Experiencedesigning scaffolding, harnesses, or orchestration layers that allow AI tools to operate reliably within an existing engineering or business environment

• Knowledge ofAI solution architecture patterns, including prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool calling, and agentic workflows

• Knowledge ofsecure software development practices, version control, and code review processes in a team setting

• Ability totranslate client business problems into implementable AI solution designs, work without considerable direction, develop innovative solutions to complex problems, and mentor or supervise team members

• Ability toobtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

• Bachelor's degreeand 5+ years of experiencein software engineering, AI/ML integration, or solution architecture, or Master's degreeand 3+ years of experiencein software engineering, AI/ML integration, or solution architecture

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencewith Azure AI Foundry, including model deployment, evaluation, agent development, or content safety configuration

• Experiencewith agent frameworks and protocols, including Model Context Protocol (MCP), Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or AutoGen

• Experiencewith consulting or client-facing delivery in a federal or public sector environment

• Knowledge ofAzure cloud services, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code

• Knowledge ofAI governance and risk frameworks, including the NIST AI Risk Management Framework

• Knowledge ofevaluation methods for AI-generated code and output quality, including benchmarking and regression testing

• Ability tolead technical workshops and communicate solution trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ability toassess AI tooling options and produce recommendations aligned to client budget, security posture, and mission goals

• Master's degreein Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a relatedfield

• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102), Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GitHub Actions, or GitHub Copilot Certification
