The Opportunity:
Develop and debug Virtual Reality (VR)and Augmented Reality (AR)software or applications for various devices. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members.
You Have:
- 5+ years of experiencewith software development in industry settings
- 3+ years of experiencewith Unity3D in a professional environment
- 3+ years of experiencedeveloping features within 3D real-time interactive products in industry settings
- 1+ years of experienceas a project or workstream lead and mentoring junior developers
- Experience with programming languages such as C# or C++
- Experience building for VR, including Quest or VIVE, or mixed or AR, including HoloLens, Magic Leap, ARKit, MRTK 3, or ARCore
- Knowledge of interfaces, abstracting, inheritance, and polymorphism
- Ability to solve problems effectively and work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in STEM
Nice If You Have:
- Experience developing SDKs or shared technology that enhances extensibility and reuse
- Experience with performance optimization of real-time applications
- Experience with ArcGIS and Cesium
- Knowledge of MVVM architecture
- Knowledge of one or more real-time engine components such as rendering, input processing, serialization, UI, or networking
- Knowledge of 3D math, linear algebra, and data structures
- Possession of excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
