AWS Geospatial Software Engineer

You Have:

• 5+ years of experiencein software with a cloud-first development approach

• 5+ years of experiencewith back-end development, including with back-end languages such as Java, Python, GO, or C++, and front-end languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS

• 3+ years of experiencewith enterprise application development, including geospatial data processing and spatial algorithm development

• 3+ years of experiencewith AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including ECS/EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM policies, security groups, and network security

• 3+ years of experiencewith Infrastructure as Code, including AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation

• Experienceworking with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS/EKS, and container orchestration

• Experiencedeveloping and deploying production geospatial applications from concept to O&M

• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencewith Authority to Operate (ATO)processes and security documentation

• Experiencewith database administration and optimization, including RDS, DynamoDB, or MongoDB

• Experiencewith serverless architecture such as Lambda and API Gateway

• Experienceleading technical initiatives in large-scale environments

• Experiencewith system design, including scalability and reliability

• Experiencedeveloping Geospatial UIs, implementing DevOps mechanisms for projects, and designing and implementing UI for artificial intelligence or machine learning applications

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer Certification

• IAT Level II+ Certificationsuch as Security+ or CISSP Certification
