CNO Software Engineer
The Opportunity:
As a computer network operations (CNO) specialist, you know that full-stack developers, embedded developers, reverse engineers, and vulnerability analysts all play key roles in the CNO capability development lifecycle. We’re looking for someone like you to apply your engineering expertise in a rapidly evolving development and analysis environment.
As a CNO capability development specialist on our team, you’ll support full project lifecycles, help design and develop mission-focused software capabilities, and collaborate closely with cyber operators and technical experts. You’ll work across Linux environments, build robust services using Go, create front-end components when needed, and develop tooling that enables analysts to solve complex problems.

You Have:
8+ years of experience with software engineering in a professional work environment
Experience in a server-side programming language, such as Go
Experience with JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
Experience developing within Linux operating systems
Experience with SQL databases such as SQLite or PostgreSQL
Experience using Git, JIRA, and Confluence
Ability to think critically through complex technical challenges
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience withElasticsearch, including indexing, schema design, or optimization
Experience withSplunkfor data analysis or dashboarding
Experience supporting Intelligence Community or mission-focused cyber programs
Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, or containerization such as Docker or Kubernetes
Knowledge ofcomputer networking fundamentalsornetwork analysis
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
