The Opportunity:
As an Enterprise Cybersecurity Data Scientist supporting our next-generation artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled Cyber Fusion Center(CFC), you will help architect and operationalize the analytic foundation enabling cyber defense at machine speed. Your work will directly support our enterprise initiative to embed AI across cybersecurity workflows, accelerating detection, improving efficiency, and increasing the autonomy of CFC operations as we mature from manual to automated and semi-autonomous capabilities.
In this role, you will apply data engineering and data science to build the foundation for AI-enabled capabilities to autonomously detect, investigate, and remediate cyber threats. You will collaborate closely with cyber operators and AI engineers to design data pipelines that power real-time situational awareness, cybersecurity workflows, and autonomous decision support across the enterprise. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
How You’ll Contribute:
As an Enterprise Cybersecurity Data Scientist on our team, you’ll:
- Build and maintain scalable pipelines that integrate various security telemetry and external data sources to support real-time CFC analytics.
- Develop analytic workflows utilizing Python and SQL to enable threat detection, anomaly detection, and automated triage.
- Use Databricks, clean coding practices, and version control to deliver reproducible, production-ready solutions.
- Partner with AI engineers to shape requirements and prioritize datasets to enable CFC workflows.

You Have:
- 3+ years of experiencein data exploration, cleaning, analysis, or data mining, including with both structured and unstructured data
- 3+ years of experiencebuilding data pipelines
- 3+ years of experienceworking with SQL, Python, and Apache Spark
- Experiencemanaging version control, including Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experiencebuilding or operating ETL pipelines such as ingest, transform, load, including API integration and data manipulation across multiple file types such as JSON, XML, and geospatial formats
- Ability todisplay clean coding habits and focus on quality
- Ability towork independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability tobe self-motivated and pay attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degreein Cybersecurity, Data Science, Engineering, or IT and 3+ years of experience working in cybersecurity, information technology, data engineering, or data science in a professional environment, or 5+ years of experienceworking in cybersecurity, information technology, data engineering, or data science in a professional environment in lieu of a degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
