Data Scientist
The Opportunity:
Design and implement effective AI solution architecture utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address Marine Corps operational needs. Apply advanced technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Developinnovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members, as needed. Contribute to the direction of critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and technologies. Help your clients navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.
You Have:
- 2+ years of experiencewith artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning engineering, software engineering, data research, or data analytics
- Experiencewith software development or engineering, including in an academic or professional environment
- Experiencewith big data technologies, such as Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks
- Experiencewith a programming language, including Python, C#, or Java
- Ability tocreate solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Ability todevelopscripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats and support project team to scale, monitor, and operate data platforms
- Ability toobtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experiencewith generative and agentic AI technologies, such as LLMs, MCP, LangChain, or LangGraph
- Experiencewith embedded systems programming in C, C++, or Rust
- Ability todevelopand maintain scalable data stores that supply big data in forms needed for business analysis
- Ability tocreate software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data
- Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
