As a Software Engineer reporting to the Senior Director of Software Engineering, you'll play a key role in building and improving the Nasdaq Questionnaires platform - a SaaS solution supporting governance, compliance, and board-related workflows for corporate clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintainsoftware components - including APIs, backend services, and user-facing features - across a modern cloud-based platform.
Participate in the full development lifecycle, from requirements and design through testing, deploymentreadiness, release support, and thoughtful production support.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Quality, DevOps, and Support teams across multiple locations to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality solutions.
Build with quality in mind by contributing to engineering best practices, automation, testability, and reliable delivery improvements that help the team ship software with confidence.
Explore emerging technologies - including AI-assisted development and intelligent automation - and bring ideas that improve the product and team effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2-4 years of professional software development experience with strong programming fundamentals and core engineering principles.
Proficiencyin one or more modern programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Foundational knowledge of web application architecture, REST APIs, relational databases, cloud platforms, networking, scalability, queues, background processing, and distributed systems concepts.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting,and problem-solving skills; able to collaborate effectively in Agile, cross-functional environments and communicate clearly across teams.
Comfortable contributing across development, testing, deployment readiness, and support activities, with a willingness to learn beyond a single technology or layer of the stack.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure totechnologies similar toour environment, such as cloud services, containerization, Kubernetes/AKS, CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, or secure software development in an enterprise or SaaS environment.
Exposure toAI-assisted development, machine learningconcepts, or intelligent automation in a professional or academic context.
Background in regulated industries such as fintech, capital markets, or enterprise compliance technology.

The base pay range for this role is $96,000 - $163,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth.
