DevOps Backend Engineer

As a Software Factory DevOps Engineer on our team, you’ll pipeline our software development from requirements to testing in production. You’ll incorporate automation and cloud resources to minimize repetitive tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best-innovate. You’ll work together with fellow professionals to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)to limit manual testing and troubleshooting.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experiencedelivering DevOps or DevSecOps solutions for complex enterprise or mission-critical environments, including cloud migration, application modernization, or cloud adoption
• 3+ years of experiencedeveloping and supporting backend applications, APIs, microservices, integrations, and automation services using Python, Java, C#/.NET, Go, or Node.js
• Experiencedesigning and implementing cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OCI, or Cloud One, covering containers, Kubernetes, cloud services, networking, identity, data services, or deployment patterns
• Experiencebuilding and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps, including automated builds, testing, security scanning, artifact management, or multi-environment deployment
• Experienceusing Terraform and scripting languages, such as Python, Linux Shell, or PowerShell, to automate infrastructure, deployments, testing, monitoring, and operations across applications, pipelines, or production issues
• Ability toobtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencedeveloping enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD
• Knowledge ofcreating and improving continuous automation across multiple cloud service providers
• Knowledge ofcreating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
• Knowledge oftriaging and resolving issues relatedto both open-source and commercial tools in government cloud environments
• Knowledge ofscripting languages such as Linux Shell Script, PowerShell, and Python
• Possession ofstrong troubleshooting skills
• Secret clearance
• Master’s degree
• Security+ Certification
