DevOps Platform Engineer

As a software factory DevOps Platform Engineer on our team, you’ll support our software development from requirements to testing in production. You’ll incorporate automation and cloud resources to minimize repetitive tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best-innovate. You’ll work together with fellow professionals to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) to limit manual testing and troubleshooting.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experiencemaintaining and deploying production-grade containerized applications through DevOps practices

• Experiencewith CI/CD and developer workflow automation, including GitHub Actions, GitLab, GitBash, Git, AWS CodeStar, or CodePipeline

• Experiencewith containerization, including Docker

• Experiencetroubleshooting platform application deployments and configurations

• Ability towork with IaC, including Terraform or Ansible

• Ability towork with Cloud, including AWS or Azure

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencewith Cloud and Network Security architecture, including least privilege in IAM, secrets management, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), or Boundary Protection

• Experiencewith concepts of Service Meshes such as Istio or AWS App Mesh

• Experiencewith Prometheus, Grafana, or Keycloak

• Experiencewith Cloud-Native servers, Kubernetes platforms, and container registries

• Experiencewith hardened AMIs and container images, including DoD STIGs or CIS Benchmarks

• Experiencewith APM, including Datadog, New Relic, or Splunk

• Experiencein Rancher services, including RKE2

• Experiencewith Identity Authentication and Authorization, including Single-Sign-On, SAML, or OpenID

• Experiencein Active Directory and GPO configuration and management
