DevSecOps Engineer

The Opportunity:

Booz Allen has an opportunity to showcase your talents by supporting the United States Air Force. We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join the team. You’ll help operate a secure, reliable, and highly available cloud, managed hosting, and developer platform.

You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, translating business and development team requirements into automated platform solutions. You’ll be responsible for working with a security and compliance team and platform engineers to implement secure infrastructure features, configurations, and automation to create a dynamic platform-as-a-service for development teams.

You'll use your expertise in DoW impact levels and classifications, AWS cloud, cloud and network security, Containers and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. You'll use excellent communication skills, work independently while leading others, and work across development teams in a fast-paced and agile environment.

You Have:

• 6+ years of experiencewith DevOps for Containerized or Kubernetes production systems

• 5+ years of experiencewith CI/CD and developer workflow automation

• 5+ years of experiencewith IaC, including Terraform, Terragrunt, or Ansible

• 5+ years of experiencewith Kubernetes Deployment and GitOps tooling

• 4+ years of experiencewith cloud or network security architecture

• Experiencewith the DoW, including within cloud architecture, cluster management, security, or networking

• Experiencewith vulnerability management, dynamic and static code analysis, and hardened AMIs and Container Images

• Top Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED

• Ability toobtain a DoW 8570 IAT II Certificationwithin 60 days of start date

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencepromoting solutions into higher classification environments

• Experienceworking with or developing Special Access Programs (SAP)mission workloads

• Experienceworking with FENCES and Keycloak

• Experiencewith concepts of Service Meshes such as Istio or AWS App Mesh

• Experiencewith cloud-native servers, multiple cloud service providers (CSP), Kubernetes platforms, and container registries

• Experiencewith Identity Authentication and Authorization, including Single-Sign-On, SAML, or OpenID

• Experiencemanaging and configuring Ubuntu, RHEL, or Windows Server operating systems

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor's degree in STEM

• Associate-level Cloud Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;Top Secret clearance is required.
