DevSecOps Engineer, Senior

As a lead DevOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll oversee a team as they streamline the software development lifecycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best-create. You’ll guide the team as they implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You Have:

• 10+ years of experiencein the development of tools and processes to drive DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments

• 10+ years of experienceautomating infrastructure provisioning

• 10+ years of experiencewith configuration management tools

• 10+ years of experiencedesigning, automating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab CI or Github actions

• Experiencebuilding enterprise cloud-native solutions and hosting applications on commercial cloud providers such as AWS or Azure

• Experiencecontainerizing and orchestrating workloads using Docker and Kubernetes

• Experienceintegrating automated security checks into CI/CD pipelines such as SAST, SCA, or image scanning

• Experienceworking with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and mentoring employees within a collaborative team environment

• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

• Bachelor's degreein a STEM field

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencewith common build tools such as Maven, Gradle, and NPM

• Experiencewith ATO process

• Experiencewith tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet

• Experiencein scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Go, or similar

• Experiencetriaging and resolving issues relatedto both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments

• Experiencecreating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks

• Experienceautomating CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins or GitLab

• Master’s degreein an Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or relatedfield

• Cloud or DevOps Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, CKA/CKAD, or Security+ Certification
