Facilities Specialist

The Opportunity:

As a facilities professional, you understand how strategic planning, environmental awareness, and technical coordination work together to ensure installation infrastructure meets mission requirements. That’s why we need you-an experienced facilities professional who can apply planning expertise, analytical skill, and facility management knowledge to support facilities and environmental planning efforts for the Marine Corps.

On our team, you’ll help manage and support facilities and environmental planning activities from beginning to end while collaborating with senior leadership. Specifically, you’ll assist with preparing preliminary facilities planning materials, coordinate inputs for installation master planning, and support environmental considerations that inform government review and Master Planner approval. You’ll help ensure planning products align with installation needs, regulatory requirements, and long-term infrastructure goals.

In this role, you’ll closely impact Marine Corps installation management by supporting planning studies, validating facility requirements, and coordinating with stakeholders across Public Works, environmental offices, engineering teams, and master planners. By contributing to planning documentation, evaluating facility conditions, and supporting facilities data preparation, you’ll help advance planning efforts that improve installation readiness and infrastructure stewardship. With mentoring, exposure to complex projects, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

  • Experiencedeveloping environmental compliance/planning products, studies, or facility planning materials within Federal environment

  • Knowledge offacility planning processes, installation lifecycle activities, or infrastructure management principles

  • Ability tointerpret facility planning inputs, field conditions, and regulatory requirements and synthesize them into structured planning assessments

  • Ability tocoordinate with installation-level stakeholders to support documentation, planning meetings, or planning validation activities

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experiencesupporting facilities planning, facilities program management, installation management, or infrastructure analysis, or Master’s degree and 5+ years of experiencesupporting facilities planning, facilities program management, installation management, or infrastructure analysis

Nice If You Have:

  • Experiencesupporting MCINCR, MCIPAC, NAVFAC, or otherDoD facilities or environmental planning organizations

  • Experiencedeveloping or contributing to installation master plans, layout studies, or Basic Facility Requirements (BFRs)

  • Knowledge ofMILCON or FSRM planning processes, master planning workflows, or UFC planning standards

  • Knowledge offacilities and environmental planning tools such as GIS, iNFADS, BUILDER SMS, or installation planning systems

  • Bachelor’s degreein Planning, Engineering, Architecture, Public Administration, or a relatedfield preferred;Master’s degreein Planning, Engineering, Architecture, Public Administration, or a relatedfield a plus

  • PMP, CFM, AICP, or otherrelevantPlanning or Facilities Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
