Booz Allen Hamilton is an American consulting firm founded in 1914 that has spent most of the past century working for the United States government, and today derives almost all of its revenue from federal clients. It supplies technology and mission services to defence, intelligence, civil and health agencies, covering systems engineering, cyber operations, data platforms and increasingly artificial intelligence deployed inside classified environments. Headquartered in McLean, Virginia and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it employs tens of thousands of security-cleared staff and competes with the other large federal services contractors for multi-year programme awards.
HST EW Scenario Writer

The Opportunity:

The Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Scenario Writer provides subject-matter expertise and produces realistic EW scenario products. This role designs EW storylines, Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) injects, and dynamic script support that replicate operational electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) conditions to meet unit training objectives. The EW Scenario Writer synchronizes EW events across exercise components, integrates current threat and intelligence inputs, and advises OPFOR and exercise leadership on EW impacts to training audiences.

What You'll Work On:

  • Provide EW scenario products and SME support to replicate a realistic operational environment (OE) enabling units to meet training objectives.

  • Develop EW storylines and MSEL injects aligned to unit training objectives. Storylines will address allied, host-nation, and adversary EMS capabilities, requirements, and employment, and outline processes for seeking permission to conduct EMS operations and interfacing.

  • Coordinate EW storyline development within the broader scenario design effort and support dynamic scripting and adjustments during live exercises.

  • Advise the exercise design team on how EW events affect the training audience via the simulation and integrate real-world threats, intelligence, and lessons learned into the EW storyline.

  • Directly contribute to exercise planning documents, including Annex B and C, Appendix 12, and other HICOM and operations order sections as required.

  • Train, monitor, and advise the commander on EW doctrine and tactics and develop and propose draft EW events for inclusion in the brief.

  • Prepare and present recommended EW workarounds and mitigations to the Rules and Workaround Committee.

  • Synchronize and supervise the execution of all EW-related storylines and associated MSELs during the exercise, ensuring timely and coherent delivery of EW effects across play areas.

Join us. The world can't wait.

You Have:

  • Completion of Officer, Warrant Officer, or NCO school

Nice If You Have:
