Network Storage Engineer, Senior

The Opportunity:

As a senior network storage engineer on our team, you’ll be integral to architecting, deploying, and operating complex network environments across various DoW clients in the Indo-Pacific. You’ll create and employ new storage architectures to meet client requirements adhering to Zero Trust best practices in hybridenvironments that demand high resiliency for data access. You’ll interface with key stakeholders and users, including internal delivery and engineering teams as well as cybersecurity professionals, to assure resilient data-centric delivery. You’ll assist with designing and implementing custom policyto ensure positive control of data across hybridcloud environments. You’ll also mentor the next set of storage engineers to help them grow into tomorrow’s data architects.

You Have:

• 8+ years of experiencedesigning, deploying, and configuring network storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and object storage

• Experiencewith provisioning storage and performance tuning for operational demand

• Experiencewith back-up and recovery planning and implementation, including configurations and policy

• Experiencewith a major vendor, including Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, AWS, or Azure

• Experiencein virtual environment management such as VMWare solutions

• Experiencewith hybridnetworks and virtualization technologies

• Experiencedocumenting and diagraming technical architectures

• Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experienceworking in federal, DoW, or IC agency environments

• Knowledge offederal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, and frameworks, federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems

• Bachelor's degreein an IT, Cybersecurity, or Engineering field

• Storage Management and Administration Certificationsuch as Dell, HPE, NetApp, AWS, or Azure Certification
