Procurement Specialist, Mid

The Opportunity:

Plan and execute procurement actions, conduct source selections, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and internal company policies. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Research and negotiate major organizational contracts and procurements. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experiencewith procurement or direct purchasing in federal government contracting

• Experienceevaluating requirements for hardware and software procurements in support of government primecontracts, including FAR and DFARS flow-downs, special requirements, and performance work statements

• Experienceestablishing CPSR-compliant procurement files greater than $350,000, including small business subcontracting plans, cost accounting standards, and the Truth in Negotiation Act

• Experienceevaluating and negotiating terms and conditions to identify and mitigate risk based on purchase order award type, commodity, and anticipated award value

• Experienceperforming price analysis and document fair and reasonable pricing determination

• Experienceevaluating statements of work or bills of materials for completeness

• Experiencedelivering training on contract requirements and procurement processes

• Experienceevaluating source justifications to ensure compliance with the procurement award type

• Ability tomultitask and prioritize based on demand of requirements or workload

• HS diploma or GED
