RF Analysis Engineer

This is the role of our Radio Frequency (RF)Analysis Engineer working to support the customer each day, performing RF analyses to protect their operations CONUS and OCONUS. Through this role, you will get the opportunity to help ensure spectrum access to support the defense client’s mission at home and abroad.
The RF Analysis Engineer provides technical support in the areas of spectrum management, electromagnetic spectrum operations, and spectrum policy. You’ll support government meetings, technical working groups, and stakeholder engagements by preparing reports, presentations, and briefing materials to share technical analyses. You’ll coordinate with defense organizations, federal agencies, industry partners, and standards bodies to assess emerging technologies, spectrum-sharing initiatives, regulatory developments, and spectrum access strategies. You’ll deliver subject matter expertise and technical recommendations to support defense spectrum modernization and electromagnetic spectrum superiority objectives.
As an RF Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for everything from validating input data, devising an analysis methodology, and ensuring the quality of technical outputs to convey results concisely and clearly. You will also support a lead engineer in representing the client’s interests in technical working groups with your peers.

You Have:
- 2+ years of experiencewith RF engineering
- 1+ years of experienceconducting Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)analyses for federal spectrum-dependent systems
- Knowledge ofwireless communications systems
- Knowledge offederal spectrum-dependent mission systems
- Knowledge of4G and 5G RAN technologies
- Knowledge ofRF Link Budget
- Ability tocreate briefs and presentations for the client
- Ability totravel up to 25% of the time
- Bachelor’s degreein Physics or STEM
Nice If You Have:
- Experiencein MATLAB, Python, or programming languages suitable to augment or enhance COTS RF simulation capabilities
- Knowledge ofRF protocols and propagation models
- Master's degreein Physics or STEM

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
