Systems Engineer, Mid

As a Systems Administrator, you will help maintain and evolve our Windows-based infrastructure while developing hands-on experiencewith PowerShell automation, system hardening, and security operations in a structured, DoD-aligned environment.

You will work alongside senior engineers and IT leadership to administer core Windows services, build automation solutions, and support the reliability and security of enterprise systems. This role provides a real growth path - with the opportunity to deepen your skillsin cloud services, DevOps tooling, and infrastructure automation as you mature in the position.

You Have:

• Experienceadministering Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy

• Experiencewith PowerShell scripting for automation, system management, and reporting

• Experiencesupporting patch management, software deployment, and system hardening activities

• Experiencewith endpoint security practices, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities

• Knowledge ofcore networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and VLANs

• Ability tofollow through on issues to resolution, troubleshoot, and pay strict attention to detail

• Ability todocument configurations, procedures, and runbooks

• Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, including CompTIA Security+ CE

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencewith Omnissa Horizon VDI environments including configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting virtual desktop infrastructures to ensure optimal performance for users

• Experiencewith Microsoft Azure - Azure AD or Entra ID, Azure Virtual Machines, or Azure resource administration

• Experiencewith Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline concepts, or infrastructure-as-code

• Experiencewith SIEM tools, endpoint protection platforms, or vulnerability scanning solutions

• Experiencewith Agile team workflows and ceremonies

• Possession ofstrong verbal and written communication skills
