The Bosch Engineering Centre of Budapest has been established in 2005. Today, it is a major research and development hub within the Bosch world, focusing on the big mobility trends: automated, electrified and connected mobility. More than 3500 engineers are working together on complex automotive products within various fields of engineering, from software to mechanical and hardware product development. Your ideas will contribute to products that improve lives across the globe.

The products of Transmission Control (TC) department in the division Powertrain Solutions (PS) not only increase the efficiency of combustion engines, hybrid cars, but offer safe and comfortable driving experience. Budapest holds full responsibility for all development activity in all domains (HW, SW, Mechanics) for all transmission control unit generation with a wide customer portfolio in the automotive world.

Your contribution to something big:

• Development of products for the automotive industry for transmission and suspension control units
• Software development by following the latest standards in the industry
• Software design with UML, software implementation in ANSI-C
• Cooperation within a diverse and international team

Key attributes:

• Ability to work systematically with strong analytical thinking skills
• MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++ programming skills
• Knowledge in control theory and control engineering
• Proficiency in English
• Ongoing university study in electrical engineering, computer science, informatics, or a related field
• Basic experience in microcontroller peripherals (ADC, PWM, GPIO, etc.)
• Knowledge of SW test methodologies
• Availability 20 hours / week
• Student status till 2028
