Internship AI Lighthouse & Data engineering

Within Bosch, the AI Lighthouse initiative focuses on accelerating digital transformation by leveraging data and artificial intelligence in a manufacturing environment. The objective is to drive innovation, enhance process efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making across operations.

As an intern within the AI Lighthouse, you will support ongoing projects at the intersection of data engineering, digitalization, and manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Support project management activities within AI and digitalization projects.
• Contribute to process streamlining and optimization initiatives.
• Act as a contact point for data-related topics across stakeholders.
• Interface with manufacturing teams to align data solutions with operational needs.
• Support data engineering activities, including data structuring and flow development.
• Contribute to the development of mainstream data flows and engineering processes.

Education: Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, IT, Business Engineering, or a related field

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong interest in digitalization, data engineering, and AI-driven solutions.
• Basic knowledge of data engineering concepts is an asset.
• Interest in value streams or manufacturing processes is a plus.
• You are proactive, structured, and have solution-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn and openness to new ideas and technologies.
• You have knowledge of PowerBI semantic model an report development.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional environment.

As an intern you will join the AI Lighthouse team and be mentored by experienced data professionals. In this role, you will contribute to innovative projects with tangible business impact, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and data-driven environment.
