Position: Business Data Analyst (Senior)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across

production, operations, recruitment, finance, and business strategy within the VFX and

media industry. The ideal candidate will transform complex data into actionable insights,

helping leadership optimize resource planning, project performance, talent acquisition, and

business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect,clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple business systems.

• Developdashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor key business and

production metrics.

• Analyzeproject performance, utilization, productivity, and forecasting data.

• Partnerwith Production, Talent Acquisition, Finance, HR, and Studio Operations

teams to identify trends and opportunities.

• Createworkforce planning and hiring analytics to support recruitment strategies.

• Conductprofitability, revenue, and cost analyses across projects and departments.

• Presentinsights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and concise

manner.

• DevelopKPI frameworks and ensure accurate tracking of business objectives.

• Automaterecurring reports and improve data processes for efficiency.

• Supportbudgeting, forecasting, and business planning initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor'sdegree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science,

Mathematics, or a related field.

• MBAIn Finance would be a bonus.

• 6-10years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or similar roles.

• Strongproficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Power BI,

Tableau, or Looker.

• Experienceworking with large datasets and performing statistical analysis.

• Knowledgeof data modeling, reporting automation, and dashboard creation.

• Stronganalytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellentcommunication and presentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiaritywith project management and resource planning tools.

• Knowledgeof Python, R, or advanced analytics techniques.

• Experiencewith forecasting, predictive analytics, and workforce planning.
